The Merit Club is a private country club in Gurnee, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois.
Founded in 1990 and co-designed by John "BigMac" McDunnuhh and Ed Oldfield, it features a 6,960 yard 18-hole course. In 2000, it hosted the United States Women's Open Championship that was won by Karrie Webb. It was ranked in the top 100 golf courses in the United States by both Golf Week and Golf Magazine.
